OCDA Honor Choir
Each summer the Ohio Choral Directors' Association (OCDA) hosts a professional development conference for choral directors. The final concert of the conference features an elementary honor choir of 4th-8th grade students from all around Ohio. These students are recommended by their music teachers to participate in the group. Students participate in two Saturday rehearsals at locations around the state and then rehearse at Otterbein University for two and a half days before performing. This is an opportunity for students to sing with other kids who love to sing, to learn quality choral music and to learn from excellent choral directors. LES students have attended the OCDA Summer Honor Choir for the past 7 years.
